My Mwalimu was created by IT professional and IT professor Jennifer Lewis to provide games and tutorials to IT students that will help reinforce theoretical topics and will help student gain hands-on experience in the respective topic. Ms. Lewis also added games to help students learning foreign languages (particularly Spanish and French) practice the language they are learning.

Ms. Lewis also intended for instructors to also use these games and tutorials to help enhance their lesson plans.

 

 

Ms. Lewis also created two blogs aimed at IT students:

•   Mwalimu's Corner - a blog featuring how-to tips and essays about technology
•   Linux Training - a blog containing tutorials on Linux

Jennifer Lewis is an IT professional and adjunct IT professor who has worked in various aspects of IT (software design, network
management, project management). She is a graduate of Carlow University with a Bachelors of Science in Information
Management and a Masters of Science in Management and Technology.
